External Marketer

About the role

The External Marketer will promote MEDPRIME Training College programmes through field visits, outreach and direct marketing. This field‑based role focuses on generating qualified leads, converting prospects into applications and supporting student admissions across Westlands and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Promote college programmes via field visits, outreach and direct marketing.
• Identify and engage prospective students, schools, organisations and community groups.
• Generate qualified leads and convert prospects into applications and admissions.
• Conduct regular follow‑ups through calls, WhatsApp and other approved channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, organisations, community groups and referral partners.
• Participate in career fairs, open days, exhibitions and other recruitment activities.
• Identify new markets and opportunities for student recruitment within the assigned territory.
• Distribute approved marketing materials and professionally represent the college.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, visits, applications and admissions.
• Submit regular field activity and recruitment reports.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback on market trends.
• Achieve assigned weekly, monthly and quarterly student recruitment targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, field marketing or business development.
• Experience in education or student recruitment is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, networking and persuasion abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets in a field‑based environment.
