Field Engineer – Drilling Services

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Engineer to join its regional Drilling Services team. You will work on‑site with customers, providing technical expertise and project leadership for complex well‑site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects and mentor junior field engineers on day‑to‑day well‑site activities.
• Provide advice and direction to customers and third‑party colleagues.
• Identify and recommend appropriate products and services for simple to complex applications.
• Execute additional duties as assigned and ensure compliance with HSE, legal, and core value policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in drilling operations.
• Ability to work in a global matrix organization and travel to rig sites, customer facilities, trainings, etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• DD.DDx experience (preferred).
• RPS experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of drilling operations and applications.
