Finance Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Intern to join our regional finance team in Westlands, Kenya. The role offers hands‑on experience in core finance operations, supporting day‑to‑day tasks and special projects while working with an international client in the compressed‑air and power solutions sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing.
• Support month‑end closing and financial reporting activities.
• Perform reconciliations and verify transaction accuracy.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers and inventory records.
• Help prepare for internal and external audits.
• Enter data and perform administrative tasks within the ERP system.
• Assist procurement and cost‑control processes.
• Provide financial analysis to support senior‑management decisions.
• Undertake other finance‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or final‑year student in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Progress toward CPA or CIFA certification is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical mindset with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic modelling).
