Finance Manager

About the role

As Finance Manager, you will own Apollo’s group finance function end‑to‑end — accounting, reporting, tax, regulatory compliance, treasury, FP&A and lender reporting — supported by a small, experienced accounting team and Apollo’s AI‑enabled finance tooling. You will work closely with leadership, auditors, tax advisors and lenders to keep the numbers accurate, the filings on time and the business well informed.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end close and group reporting, overseeing multi‑entity and multi‑currency consolidation and IFRS statutory financial statements.
• Lead external audits, coordinate tax advisors and ensure timely tax and statutory filings across the Group.
• Manage the Group’s tax agenda, including corporate income tax, VAT, withholding and payroll taxes, as well as transfer pricing arrangements.
• Oversee AML, licensing, business permits and other regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance calendars.
• Run treasury and cash management, handling cash flow movements, liquidity, FX exposure and banking relationships.
• Drive budgeting, performance analysis and provide leadership with clear insight into performance and outlook.
• Prepare lender, investor and board reporting packs, monitor covenant compliance and maintain debt schedules.
• Supervise and develop a small accounting, compliance and investor relations team, setting clear objectives.
• Automate reporting, reconciliation and analysis using AI‑enabled tools to enable a lean finance operation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of finance and accounting experience with progressive responsibility, including month‑end close and reporting.
• Professional accounting qualification (K‑CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong experience with consolidation, IFRS statutory accounts and external audits.
• Solid direct and indirect tax knowledge (CIT, VAT, WHT) with hands‑on KRA/iTax and eTIMS experience; transfer pricing exposure is a plus.
• Comfortable with budgets, forecasts and core accounting functions.
• Proficient in using AI tools to automate finance processes while maintaining deep understanding of outputs.
• Hands‑on, organized, strong follow‑through and good judgment.
• Clear communication with senior stakeholders, auditors and lenders.
