Finance Manager – Remote – $100k/year

About the role

You will lead global finance operations through a team of Senior Accountants while staying close enough to the work to ensure accuracy. The role blends hands‑on finance work with management, using AI and automation to eliminate manual tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Build a high‑performing finance operations team that consistently delivers accurate, timely finance outputs while continuously improving quality and reducing manual work.
• Keep finance operations moving through Senior Accountants, prioritising work based on deadlines, business impact, dependencies and financial risk.
• Inspect finance dashboards and completed work to ensure invoices, payments, reconciliations, control accounts, revenue and spend allocations are accurate and current.
• Diagnose quality failures, write evidence‑based coaching and identify AI/automation opportunities to improve speed and accuracy.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A recognised professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience on at least five audits involving a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Finance experience in an organisation with at least $100 M USD revenue.
• People‑management experience with direct responsibility for finance or accounting professionals.
• Hands‑on experience across AP, AR, bank and control‑account reconciliations, and revenue/spend allocation.
• Experience prioritising and allocating operational finance work across a team while managing deadlines and blockers.
• Proven ability to embed AI or LLM tools into high‑volume finance transaction‑processing workflows with measurable efficiency gains.
• Ability to work US business hours.
