Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will join the Regional Office Finance Team at BRAC International, supporting the organization’s financial management systems. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, budgeting support, cash‑flow monitoring and donor reporting while ensuring compliance with BRAC policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit financial deliverables, including reports and budgets, on schedule.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly meetings to review unit financial status and recommend management actions.
• Update financial information, identify assistance needs, and ensure proper coding of expenses.
• Prepare quarterly cash requests and ensure timely submission.
• Verify that payment documents are fully supported, approved, and aligned with the cost allocation policy.
• Maintain organized financial document storage and uphold internal controls and audit recommendations.

Required profile

• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Ability to support budgeting, cash‑flow management and donor reporting processes.
• Familiarity with financial document preparation, expense coding and internal control standards.
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with the finance team.
