Finance Officer (Temporary)

About the role

The Finance Officer will support BRAC International’s financial management systems, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Working under the Finance Manager, the role focuses on risk management, reporting, and providing financial analysis for a portfolio of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial deliverables, including reports and budgets, in coordination with senior finance teams.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly meetings with unit leads to review financial status and recommend actions.
• Monitor project budgets and produce routine and ad‑hoc financial reports for decision‑making.
• Identify and communicate changes in government regulations and IFRS to maintain compliance.
• Support financial risk management and control activities, liaising with the Finance Manager to enhance policies.

Required profile

• Experience in financial reporting and analysis for project portfolios.
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant government regulations.
• Ability to develop routine and ad‑hoc financial reports.
• Capability to monitor and track budgets under guidance.
