Garment Factory Manager

About the role

The Garment Factory Manager will lead our client’s apparel production operations, overseeing cut, make, trim and finishing processes. You will be responsible for meeting output targets while ensuring quality, cost efficiency and on‑time delivery in line with client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily manufacturing activities to achieve production, quality and cost goals.
• Develop weekly and monthly production schedules based on demand.
• Enforce and improve quality systems, including inline and end‑line inspections.
• Monitor efficiency, downtime and quality via Odoo ERP dashboards and Gemba reviews.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects using Lean, 5S and Kaizen.
• Manage preventive maintenance to maximise equipment uptime.
• Oversee operator training, performance management and staffing in partnership with HR.
• Coordinate material availability with Supply Chain.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and present weekly performance reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in garment or textile manufacturing.
• Proven leadership of production, quality assurance and maintenance teams.
• Strong understanding of cost control, scheduling and workforce management.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams such as design, merchandising and supply chain.
