General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead the overall operations of Petanns Driving and Computer College, ensuring the institution delivers high‑quality education and transport services. This senior role combines strategic business development with day‑to‑day operational oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain high‑level business networks that generate new opportunities for the college.
• Lead corporate marketing initiatives and coordinate large‑group training sessions.
• Oversee debt management and ensure strict adherence to the credit policy.
• Identify market opportunities by analysing customer needs, market trends, economic conditions and competitor behaviour.
• Direct all operational aspects of the college, driving staff productivity and performance.
• Provide leadership, direction and coordination across all departments.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve training programmes for students and lecturers.
• Foster an environment that supports growth for both students and academic staff.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Management; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• At least five years of experience in a management position, preferably within transport or logistics.
• Proven experience in the education sector is desirable.
