About the role
The African Development Bank is offering a three‑to‑six‑month internship focused on governance, natural resource and knowledge management. The position provides practical experience in a development finance environment, with the possibility to work remotely or on‑site in Nairobi.
Required profile
- Be a national of an African Development Bank member country and aged between the age of majority and 30 years at the start of the internship.
- Currently enrolled in a recognised master’s degree programme (or within one year of graduation).
- Fluent in English or French.
- Proficient with the Bank’s standard software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); SAP knowledge is a plus.

- Microsoft Access
- Basic SAP usage (desirable)
