Hair/Nails/Make up Instructor

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Hair, Nails, and Make‑up Instructor to join our team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role involves delivering professional beauty services and training clients on a wide range of techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hair cutting and shaping, including one‑length cuts, layers, fades, razor cuts, point cutting, and beard/mustache shaping.
• Provide styling and thermal work such as blow‑drying, roller sets, straightening, curling, updos, braids, weaves, wig installations, and loc styling.
• Apply hair coloring and chemical treatments, including base color, highlights, balayage, ombre, toning, relaxers, perms, keratin, and protein treatments.
• Conduct hair and scalp care, including shampooing, deep conditioning, steam treatments, and scalp detox.
• Deliver nail care services: manicures, pedicures, cuticle care, hand/foot massage, acrylic, gel, poly‑gel applications, and removals.
• Create nail art designs using freehand, stamping, gems, 3D art, and custom requests.
• Perform makeup application, skin analysis, foundation, contouring, eye makeup, lashes, bridal/glam/editorial looks, and eyebrow shaping/tinting while maintaining hygiene.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in hair, nail, or makeup services.
• Ability to safely perform all listed technical procedures.
