About the role
The Home Care Scheduler is responsible for coordinating caregiver assignments to ensure continuous, high‑quality home care services. Working on‑site, you will manage daily schedules, handle emergency coverage, and serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling matters.
Key responsibilities
- Assign caregivers to client shifts, monitor coverage, and make real‑time adjustments.
- Manage call‑outs, cancellations, and last‑minute changes by deploying backup caregivers.
- Communicate schedule updates promptly to caregivers and clients, maintaining professional and empathetic interactions.
- Maintain accurate records in scheduling and workforce management systems, tracking attendance and coverage metrics.
- Generate performance reports and monitor key scheduling KPIs.
Required profile
- Previous experience in scheduling, workforce coordination, healthcare staffing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with scheduling or workforce management platforms.
- Ability to analyze scheduling data and performance metrics.
