Hotel Supervisor

About the role

The Hotel Supervisor will oversee daily operations across all hotel departments, ensuring that guests receive high‑quality service and that the property runs efficiently. This full‑time, onsite position reports to senior management and plays a key role in maintaining standards, safety, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day hotel operations, monitoring adherence to policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Coordinate activities across front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly, aiming to enhance overall satisfaction.
• Prepare duty rosters, monitor attendance, grooming, and performance of staff, and provide coaching and mentorship.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and facilities, reporting maintenance issues and ensuring hygiene standards.
• Support restaurant, bar, and catering services, enforcing food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels of housekeeping, food, beverage, and operational supplies, assisting with stock‑taking and waste reduction.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations, and manage incidents according to hotel procedures.
• Prepare daily operational and shift‑hand over reports, maintaining records of guest feedback and staff performance.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in hotel operations or supervisory roles.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to resolve guest issues effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
