HR and Administration Internship

About the role

We are looking for a motivated intern to support our Human Resources and Administration team at BIMAS Kenya Ltd in Nairobi. This short‑term placement offers hands‑on exposure to HR processes, employee onboarding, payroll assistance, and office administration within the banking, finance and insurance sector. The role provides a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills while contributing to daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily HR tasks such as maintaining employee records, updating databases, and supporting recruitment activities.
• Provide administrative support including document preparation, data entry, filing, and managing office supplies.
• Help organize internal events, trainings, and meetings, ensuring logistics are handled smoothly.
• Support payroll preparation and compliance documentation under supervision.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the HR manager, gaining exposure to various functional areas.

Required profile

• Computer literacy with basic office software skills.
• Minimum academic grade of C plain.
• At least 23 years of age.
