Human Resource Manager

About the role

The Human Resource Manager will lead the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies and programs that support the company's strategic objectives. This role is responsible for building a high‑performance culture through talent acquisition, development, retention and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop best‑practice HR and administration strategies, policies and procedures aligned with corporate goals.
• Design and coordinate tailored training and development programs to foster a results‑driven performance culture.
• Plan, organise and direct competitive recruitment and selection processes.
• Maintain staff motivation and retention through effective performance management and compensation strategies.
• Oversee the implementation and administration of integrated Human Resource Information Systems.
• Implement occupational health, safety programs and insurance plans.
• Prepare and manage the HR department budget.
• Represent management in collective bargaining, mediation and arbitration.
• Handle employee discipline and grievance procedures in line with group SOPs.
• Develop welfare initiatives to boost staff engagement.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting employment practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Higher diploma in Human Resource Management.
• Membership of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) professional body.
• Minimum of five years of relevant HR experience (mid‑level).
