About the role
World Vision is seeking a motivated graduate to support its humanitarian emergency affairs team in Nairobi. The internship offers hands‑on experience in disaster management, data analytics and project implementation within a leading international NGO.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning and analysis of emergency response data.
- Support compliance and risk‑management activities for ongoing projects.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports aligned with Sphere and Core Humanitarian Standards.
- Help coordinate field activities and liaise with partners and beneficiaries.
Required profile
- Recent graduate (within two years) with a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Management or a related field.
- Strong interest in humanitarian work and disaster management.
- Understanding of Sphere Standards and Core Humanitarian Standards is a plus.
Required skills
- Data analysis and basic statistical techniques.
- Project implementation and compliance monitoring.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
