About the role
The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) is offering an industrial attachment in IT & Network Infrastructure located in Nyeri/Westlands. This full‑time attachment provides a practical learning environment for recent graduates to gain hands‑on experience supporting the broadcaster’s technology infrastructure. The program is designed to expose participants to real‑world IT operations within a media organization.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the IT department with routine network and infrastructure tasks.
- Support end‑user devices and help resolve basic technical issues.
- Participate in monitoring and maintaining network performance.
- Help with installation and configuration of networking equipment.
- Contribute to documentation of IT processes and configurations.
- Assist in backup and recovery activities as required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering).
