About the role
The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation offers an industrial attachment in technical engineering, focusing on camera work and video editing. This full‑time attachment provides hands‑on experience in a broadcast environment, allowing the participant to develop practical skills while supporting the production team.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in setting up and operating cameras for live and recorded productions.
- Support video editing tasks, including ingesting footage and preparing rough cuts.
- Maintain and troubleshoot camera equipment and related technical gear.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and producers to ensure smooth workflow.
- Document procedures and contribute to post‑production archives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, media technology, film production).
- Strong interest in broadcasting and visual storytelling.
