Ingeniero/a de Aplicaciones Software para Máquinas HVAC

About the role

Siemens is looking for a Software Applications Engineer to develop and support control applications for HVAC machines. You will work closely with HVAC manufacturers, providing technical expertise and ensuring seamless integration of hardware and digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Establish collaborative relationships with HVAC manufacturers and co‑develop control applications.
• Provide technical and programming support to customers.
• Coordinate with international teams and cross‑functional colleagues.
• Continuously train on software development tools and Siemens platforms.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and HVAC equipment (ventilation, cooling, heat pumps, etc.).
• Experience in controlling and managing HVAC units such as AHUs, heat recoverers, chillers, and heat pumps.
• High level of English (essential) and ability to adapt software solutions to client needs.
• Analytical mindset, problem‑solving skills, and a customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Programming in IEC 61131‑3 environments (Structured Text).
• Knowledge of Modbus and Ethernet communication protocols.
• Proficiency in Python, C++ and Structured Text (ST).
• Experience with GIT version control.
• Familiarity with Node‑RED for cloud programming.
• Understanding of Digital Twin concepts.
• Experience with refrigerant compressors and inverter technology.
