Inventory Officer - eMobility

About the role

The Inventory Officer will be the operational backbone of stock accuracy for M‑KOPA Mobility, ensuring every electric motorcycle, serial number, and battery is captured in real time. You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment supporting the growth of the eMobility division across Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and receipt incoming stock from OEMs in D365, capturing serial numbers, chassis numbers, and item codes.
• Process outbound issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments through D365 and Zoho CRM, preparing all related documentation.
• Maintain real‑time updates of all stock movements, targeting ≥99% accuracy.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, support monthly full physical stock takes, and submit variance reports within SLAs.
• Manage returns, including battery assessment and refurbishment lifecycle, and oversee free‑trial/loaner bike inventory.
• Ensure timely PO receipting, maintain complete transaction documentation, and generate daily inventory reports.
• Support Finance with monthly stock reconciliations and audit‑ready records.

• Detail‑obsessed inventory professional with a high ownership mindset.
• Experience working in a high‑volume, fast‑moving operational environment.
• Ability to collaborate across Inventory, Finance, Retail, Product, Customer Care, and Performance teams.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (ERP).
• Proficiency in Zoho CRM for inventory tracking.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management processes, cycle counting, and variance analysis.
