Kitchen Appliance Installation Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Technician to install, diagnose, and repair a wide range of kitchen appliances for our customers in Westlands. The role involves delivering high‑quality service, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining accurate service records.

Key responsibilities

• Install various kitchen appliances, including gas and electric units.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults efficiently and accurately.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to optimise appliance performance.
• Identify and replace faulty components and spare parts.
• Test appliances after installation or repair to confirm proper operation.
• Maintain detailed service records, including job reports and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety standards, especially when handling gas and electrical appliances.
• Support warehouse and inventory teams with spare‑part management when required.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold company brand standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in installation and repair of domestic gas/electric appliances.
• Strong technical knowledge of kitchen appliances and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve faults independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Capability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
