About the role
The Kenya College of Interior Design is seeking a qualified Trainer to deliver Landscape Architecture courses to its students. This full‑time position involves preparing and presenting curriculum, guiding practical studio work, and assessing student performance.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver lecture and studio sessions covering landscape design principles, site analysis, and planting design.
- Develop course materials, assignments, and evaluation criteria aligned with industry standards.
- Provide mentorship and feedback to students on design projects and presentations.
- Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in landscape architecture.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification preferred (DTTE or PGDE).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience or 3 years of professional practice in landscape architecture.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Archicad.
- Proficiency with SketchUp.
- Experience using Premiere Pro.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
