Linen Keeper

About the role

The Linen Keeper is responsible for managing the linen inventory for a hospitality establishment, ensuring that all linen items are stored, tracked, and maintained to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and store clean linen in designated areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Coordinate the distribution of linen to various departments and collect used linen for laundering.
• Ensure proper handling, folding, and storage to prevent damage.
• Monitor linen usage trends and report any discrepancies.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Housekeeping, or a related field.
• At least 12 months of experience as a Linen Keeper, Linen Attendant, Housekeeping Storekeeper, or similar role.
• Experience in a hotel, serviced apartment, hospital, or other hospitality establishment is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, honesty, reliability, and a hardworking attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
