Logistics Execution Senior Coordinator

About the role

Sucafina is seeking a Logistics Execution Senior Coordinator to lead end‑to‑end logistics operations in Nairobi. You will oversee shipment planning, transportation, documentation and port delivery, ensuring seamless movement of cargo for our agricultural supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipment schedules, transportation, and documentation to meet agreed timelines.
• Work closely with warehouse teams and forwarders to guarantee cargo readiness and timely dispatch.
• Maintain accurate logistics documentation and meet KPI‑driven deadlines.
• Monitor logistics costs, identify demurrage or delay issues, and implement cost‑reduction measures.
• Track shipment performance, flag risks, and provide regular updates to management.
• Resolve logistics challenges with cross‑functional teams and escalate critical matters promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement through SOP reviews, controls and best‑practice adoption.
• Report monthly logistics performance against KPIs and highlight corrective actions.
• Evaluate forwarder and transporter performance using defined KPIs.
• Lead, coach and develop the logistics team, ensuring effective delegation and prioritisation.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics or supply‑chain experience, preferably in export, manufacturing, trading, FMCG or international logistics environments.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple logistics stakeholders and service providers.
• Professional logistics or supply‑chain qualifications are a plus.
