Marketer

About the role

The Marketing team at Commodores Enterprises is looking for a proactive Marketer to drive brand initiatives, manage client relationships and execute digital campaigns in Nairobi. You will work closely with clients to translate their goals into effective marketing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new business opportunities and close deals.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met.
• Meet with clients to discuss brand guidelines, objectives, budgets and timelines.
• Create brand style guides that reflect the client’s voice and mission.
• Conduct market research to understand target audience behaviours and preferences.
• Plan and launch online marketing campaigns.
• Update the company website and manage social media channels.
• Monitor competitive activity, market trends and customer feedback.
• Collect and analyse sales data to produce marketing reports.
• Maintain an inventory of promotional materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in a similar marketing role.
• Experience in office administration is a plus.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good decision‑making skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in social media marketing.
• Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques.
• Competence with standard computer applications.
