Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Tropical Heat Ltd is seeking a proactive Marketing Coordinator to drive brand visibility and trade‑marketing initiatives across Modern Trade, General Trade and HORECA channels in Nairobi. The role combines ATL and BTL activities, event coordination and resource management to support the company’s growth in the FMCG sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ATL assets, supplier contracts and budgets, ensuring high ROI and accurate financial reconciliation.
• Oversee outdoor advertising (pylons, signage) and vehicle branding, conducting regular audits and route optimisation.
• Drive POS conversion by managing Additional Display Units and outlet branding across MT, GT and HORECA channels.
• Execute product launches, sampling activations and field‑marketing initiatives, leading external brand collaborations.
• Coordinate corporate events, factory “Guest Moments”, CSR projects and end‑of‑year activities.
• Manage marketing resource inventory, office aesthetics and field‑team training to maintain brand alignment and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, trade marketing or a similar role within FMCG.
• Strong understanding of Modern Trade, General Trade and HORECA channel dynamics.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and procurement processes.
• Excellent project management, communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel for field visits and work flexible hours.
