Marketing Executive (School Tech Program)

About the role

The Marketing Executive will drive business development for our school technology platform across primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in Nairobi. You will combine field and digital outreach to generate qualified leads, nurture relationships and close sales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new opportunities within schools and colleges.
• Design and execute field and digital marketing campaigns to build a robust sales pipeline.
• Research market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities in the education sector.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to proposal, negotiation and closing.
• Conduct school visits, deliver product demos and user orientation sessions to principals, ICT coordinators and other decision‑makers.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with school stakeholders to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Support onboarding, coordinate with technical teams and provide after‑sales assistance.
• Represent the company at education exhibitions, conferences and networking events.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in business development, lead generation and B2B sales.
• Strong understanding of the education sector and school procurement processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
