About the role
We are seeking a qualified Mathematics Teacher to join Oshwal Academy in Nairobi. The successful candidate will deliver the British Curriculum to students from primary through secondary levels, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons in line with the British National Curriculum.
- Prepare students for examinations and conduct grading of assessments.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create an engaging learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or related field.
- Minimum four years of teaching experience in mathematics.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) of Kenya.
- Senior‑level professional standing.
Required skills
- Effective teaching and lesson planning.
- Exam preparation and grading.
- Classroom control and authority.
- Educational testing.
