Mid Level .Net Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Mid‑Level .Net Developer to join Tezza Business Solutions in Nairobi. The candidate will design, develop and maintain Windows and web applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and follow agile SDLC practices.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop application code according to business needs.
• Document implementation details, setup, updates, and changes.
• Follow the standard system development life‑cycle and agile methodologies.
• Maintain and enhance existing Windows/web applications and provide third‑level support.
• Check‑in code to source control, deploy releases and gather user feedback.
• Design user interfaces that improve user experience for new and existing applications.
• Participate in requirements review sessions and collaborate with external developers during integration.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant system development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Initiative, ownership and entrepreneurial mindset.

Required skills

• C# programming language.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
• Knowledge of UI frameworks and front‑end technologies (CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, AngularJS, Xamarin).
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming and software architecture.
• Familiarity with source‑control systems and agile development processes.
