NOC Coordinator

About the role

The NOC Coordinator will lead the Network Operations Centre, ensuring smooth network performance and rapid incident resolution for our clients. Based on‑site in Nairobi, the role combines technical oversight with strong customer communication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead NOC operations and coordinate dispatch activities.
• Monitor network performance, incidents, faults, tickets and restoration timelines.
• Track work orders, provide timely updates from field teams, and ensure tickets close within agreed MTTR.
• Maintain compliance with Service Level Agreements and escalation procedures.
• Provide regular, high‑quality status updates to clients.
• Prepare daily reports on achieved scopes and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure 100% compliance with EHS standards for field teams.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a NOC or similar network operations role.
• Strong understanding of fiber network concepts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast‑paced environment.
