Pharmacy Sales Representative (Mombasa)

About the role

Our client, a multinational consumer healthcare company, is looking for a proactive Pharmacy Sales Representative to promote its pharmaceutical products across pharmacies in Mombasa. The role involves building relationships with pharmacists and pharmacy staff, driving product recommendations, and meeting sales targets while adhering to regulatory and ethical guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell the company’s pharmaceutical portfolio to pharmacies, achieving defined sales objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients and monitor competitive activity.
• Provide detailed product information, conduct in‑store “Lunch & Learn” training sessions (approximately six per month), and support staff on product usage.
• Coordinate activities of third‑party merchandising agents and negotiate order volumes, shelf space, and forward share.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s CRM tool and local regulatory and ethical codes.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in a scientific, medical, paramedical, or FMCG field.
• Minimum of three years proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related FMCG environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently to achieve sales goals.
