Principal Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to take a leading role in designing, supporting, and evolving enterprise infrastructure and hosting services. This is a hands‑on technical leadership opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving automation, driving reliability, and mentoring other engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Linux & Windows infrastructure and hosted services.
• Troubleshoot complex full‑stack infrastructure issues, including networking, authentication, SSL, traffic, and application environments.
• Drive automation, configuration management, and infrastructure improvements.
• Support cloud infrastructure, virtualization, containers, and SaaS platforms.
• Participate in disaster recovery, capacity planning, security, and compliance initiatives.
• Lead infrastructure projects and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering and third‑party providers to build reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across the team.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of relevant infrastructure experience.
• Strong expertise across servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven experience leading infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
• Certifications such as RHCE/RHCSA, Microsoft, or Cisco are a plus.
