Procurement Manager

About the role

BRAC International is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead its procurement function, ensuring the efficient and cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services in line with organisational goals and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that support financial targets and adapt to market changes.
• Train, coach and, where applicable, lead country‑office procurement teams to foster high performance.
• Select, evaluate and manage vendors, including pre‑qualification, negotiation and performance assessment.
• Maintain a portfolio of reliable, high‑quality suppliers and negotiate favourable terms and service level agreements.
• Monitor procurement costs, identify savings opportunities and ensure compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Oversee creation, processing and accuracy of purchase orders.
• Draft, review and execute procurement contracts in collaboration with the legal department, managing renewals and amendments.

Required profile

• Competent, dynamic and self‑motivated professional with experience in procurement within an international or non‑profit environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage supplier relationships and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Strong understanding of procurement regulations, compliance requirements and contract management.
