Remote UI Engineer – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled UI Engineer to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to a cutting‑edge platform that enhances user engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible, and high‑performance UI components using modern frameworks.
• Translate wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces in collaboration with designers.
• Ensure cross‑browser and cross‑device compatibility while maintaining design system consistency.
• Identify and resolve rendering and load‑time bottlenecks to optimise UI performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices and accessibility standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands‑on knowledge of React or Vue.js and modern state‑management solutions.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
• Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
