Reservations Associate

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Reservations Associate to join our team in Nairobi. You will work closely with the sales team and partner lodges to ensure smooth booking processes and excellent guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests received from the Sales Person, verifying dates, rates, guest details and payment instructions.
• Coordinate with lodges to confirm room availability, special requests and booking conditions.
• Maintain accurate reservation records, trackers, documents and regular reports.
• Handle amendments, cancellations and updates in line with company procedures.
• Support basic payment processing and keep financial records related to reservations up‑to‑date.
• Identify and flag missing information or inconsistencies for clarification.
• Prepare simple summaries or reports for internal review when required.
• Stay informed about lodge offerings, packages and industry updates to provide accurate information.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in tourism, travel coordination, reservations or lodge operations.
• Fluency in Russian is a strong advantage.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Strong communication skills for internal and external coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with reservation or booking systems.
