Retail Experience Intern

About the role

The Retail Experience Intern will support the day‑to‑day operations of an Airtel retail shop, helping the customer service team deliver a high‑quality experience. This role offers hands‑on learning in sales, customer care, product knowledge and retail processes within a leading telecommunications environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers visiting the shop in a professional and friendly manner.
• Respond to basic queries about Airtel products and services, such as SIM registration, airtime, bundles and device troubleshooting.
• Support the resolution of customer complaints by escalating issues to Customer Service Executives or the Shop Manager.
• Promote Airtel products, services and offers to shop visitors.
• Guide customers through Airtel Money registration, PIN reset and transaction processes.
• Educate customers on using Airtel Money and digital self‑service platforms.
• Help maintain shop displays, branding and cleanliness to ensure a professional environment.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the shop manager.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business management or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in sales, trade promotions, brand visibility or customer service.
