Sales Manager

About the role

Synkron International is seeking a results‑driven Sales Manager to lead its B2B sales efforts in the Kenyan construction and industrial market. You will be responsible for translating revenue targets into actionable sales plans, building a robust pipeline, and nurturing long‑term client relationships across services, equipment, and training.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with approved revenue objectives.
• Identify and qualify new‑business opportunities through outreach, referrals, industry events, and OEM partnerships.
• Manage the full sales cycle from solution development, proposal and tender preparation, to commercial negotiation and closure.
• Maintain and grow strategic accounts, driving cross‑selling and upselling of equipment, spare parts, maintenance services, and training.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams to craft tailored client solutions.
• Monitor and report on pipeline health, opportunity stages, and forecasted revenue.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Commerce, Marketing, Sales or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• 5–7 years of progressive B2B sales, business development, or technical sales experience, preferably in industrial, automation or manufacturing sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and managing complex sales cycles.
• Experience developing proposals, tenders, quotations and leading commercial negotiations.
• Familiarity with African industrial and manufacturing markets is advantageous.
