About the role
The Sales & Marketing Executive will drive revenue growth for our construction products by developing and executing sales strategies, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across the building materials market.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed targets.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities within the construction and building‑materials sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, hardware stores and construction companies.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, market research and direct sales.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations and prospects to convert them into sales.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activity and trends.
- Promote construction products and solutions to existing and potential customers.
- Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms and ensure order completion.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date database of customers, prospects and sales opportunities.
- Develop and sustain a strong sales pipeline and monitor customer accounts.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to meet customer requirements.
- Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on pricing, competition and emerging opportunities.
- Participate in marketing activities, industry events and exhibitions.
- Prepare regular sales reports and track performance against targets.
- Support customer retention and identify repeat‑business opportunities.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in construction, quarry or building‑materials industry.
- Existing network within the construction sector is a strong advantage.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling to contractors, developers, hardware shops or project‑based clients.
- Strong business development and lead‑generation capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Highly proactive, commercially minded and able to work independently in the field.
- Good reporting, follow‑up and customer‑relationship management skills.
