Sales & Marketing Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales & Marketing Intern to join our team in Westlands, Nairobi. The role will support both sales and digital marketing activities while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in identifying and following up on potential clients.
• Support lead generation, customer engagement and sales activities.
• Contribute to digital marketing and social‑media initiatives.
• Prepare marketing materials, presentations and reports.
• Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities.
• Make follow‑up calls and communicate with prospective and existing clients.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records using digital tools.
• Help the team achieve set sales and marketing targets.
• Perform any other duties assigned to support business growth.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, IT or a related field.
• Good knowledge of computers and digital tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, energetic and self‑motivated with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational and follow‑up abilities.
• Previous exposure to sales or marketing is an advantage but not mandatory.
