Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified CPA‑K to join our finance team as a Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will lead key accounting functions, ensure statutory compliance, and support strategic financial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Oversee the month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Manage journal entries, reconciliations and cash‑flow reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Kenyan tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

Required profile

• Qualified CPA‑K and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior role.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing or related industries is an advantage.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
