Senior Learning & Development Associate

About the role

BrighterMonday Consulting is seeking a dynamic Senior Learning & Development Associate to lead the learning component of a youth skilling and employment impact project in Kenya. The role focuses on improving employability for Kenyan youth, especially young women, refugees, and persons with disabilities, by designing and delivering effective soft‑skill and employability training.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with project objectives.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify skills gaps across diverse youth groups.
• Develop inclusive instructional materials, training modules, and curricula.
• Coordinate training schedules and manage partnerships with training providers nationwide.
• Track learning outcomes, maintain the community engagement content calendar, and ensure accessibility of all learning activities.
• Report progress to the Head of Youth Engagement and Learning and ensure milestones are met.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 48 months of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and diverse learner populations.
• Strong understanding of inclusive pedagogical approaches for marginalized groups.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
