Senior Manager, Finance

About the role

BRAC International is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance to lead the finance and accounts function for its country operation. Reporting to the Head of Programmes and working closely with the senior management team, you will ensure robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and compliance with both local and international accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and finance processes, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Maintain and strengthen financial controls to protect assets and ensure policy compliance.
• Record, allocate, and report project‑wise financial transactions, ensuring cost allocation aligns with project agreements.
• Monitor project financial performance and drive timely cost recovery.
• Lead the month‑end closing process and deliver accurate financial statements to Head Office.
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports, ensuring adherence to local and international standards.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing finance functions in a non‑profit or development context.
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards and donor reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with programme teams and senior leadership.
