Senior Process Automation Engineer

About the role

The Senior Process Automation Engineer will lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent automation solutions that drive CIC Insurance Group’s digital transformation agenda. Reporting to the Head of Digital & Transformation, you will work across the organisation to deliver efficiency gains, cost savings, and streamlined processes.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality, maintainable, well‑tested full‑stack code following industry best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on automation projects.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable automation and digitisation solutions using React, Java Spring Boot, and Python.
• Implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with UiPath and orchestrate complex workflows with Temporal.
• Create low‑code/no‑code solutions using Corteza and Power Platform.
• Deploy and monitor applications on AWS and OpenShift.
• Apply Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum) to manage project timelines.
• Optimize and manage MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Identify opportunities for process simplification and lead workshops with business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proven experience in full‑stack development with strong front‑end and back‑end expertise.
• Track record of delivering automation projects in a corporate environment.
