Short-Form Video Creator & Editor

About the role

We are looking for a creative short‑form video creator and editor to produce engaging clips for our East African audience. The role involves turning scripts and creative briefs into polished videos that resonate on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. You will work closely with the marketing team to ensure each piece aligns with brand voice and local cultural nuances.

Key responsibilities

• Edit, caption, and assemble videos from creative briefs and scripts, ensuring high‑quality output and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Localize video content for East Africa by producing versions in English, Swahili, and Sheng, adapting language and visual cues for each audience.
• Create multiple video variants for A/B testing, monitor performance metrics, and iterate based on data insights.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience editing short‑form video using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong portfolio that showcases at least five short‑form videos with clear evidence of your role in each project.
• Fluency in English and Swahili, plus comfort using Sheng in spoken or written form.
• Deep understanding of Kenyan TikTok trends, popular sounds, and social media formats.
