Software Developer / Analyst

About the role

The International Rescue Committee’s METAL unit is seeking a Software Developer/Analyst to design, build, and maintain data tools that support decision‑making across its Crisis Response, Recovery and Development programs. You will work closely with the CRRD Data & Analytics team, leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and Azure services to enable evidence‑based programming.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and support data applications using PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Databricks and Azure SQL.
• Provide 2nd‑line help‑desk support and troubleshoot technical issues for end‑users.
• Assist program staff with data platform usage, ensuring data quality, security, and proper system configuration.
• Contribute to the definition of standards for data processes, quality assurance, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with the Technology Development Lead and other METAL team members on product road‑maps and enhancements.

Required profile

• Strong experience building solutions on Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and capacity to provide technical assistance to non‑technical users.
• Ability to document processes and contribute to standards development.
