Software Developer – Data Tools & Analytics

About the role

The Software Developer will join the METAL team within the Technical Excellence group of the International Rescue Committee. You will design, build, and maintain data tools that support KPI collection, management, and visualization for CRRD programs, enabling evidence‑based decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support data platforms using PowerApps, Power BI, Databricks, and Azure SQL.
• Provide configuration, technical assistance, and 2nd‑line help‑desk support for data tools.
• Route technical issues and collaborate with developers, QA, and project managers to resolve them.
• Contribute to setting standards for data quality, security, and system configuration.
• Work closely with the Technology Development Lead and program staff to align solutions with program needs.

Required profile

• Solutions‑driven professional with a passion for humanitarian impact.
• Strong experience building applications on Microsoft Power Platform.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
