Statistics Lecturer (Part‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Statistics Lecturer to deliver scheduled lectures, revision sessions and related teaching activities for university‑level modules. The role is based in Nairobi, Westlands and involves preparing teaching materials and supporting students through the University of London Virtual Learning Environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, revision sessions and mock examinations for assigned statistics modules.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, case studies and classroom activities.
• Familiarise yourself with the University of London VLE, module specifications and learning outcomes.
• Assign readings, independent study tasks and monitor student attendance.
• Provide academic guidance, feedback and consultation to students.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and syllabus progress.
• Participate in faculty meetings, academic briefings and adhere to the academic calendar.

Required profile

• Experience delivering higher‑education statistics instruction.
• Ability to use the University of London Virtual Learning Environment.
• Proficiency with Google Classroom, Google Sheets and email communication for student assignments.
