About the role
Fairseat Foundation is looking for a reliable Storekeeper to manage the receipt, storage, issuance and record‑keeping of goods and supplies. The role ensures accurate inventory control, maintains proper storage conditions and supports smooth day‑to‑day operations across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels, trigger purchase requisitions and process purchase orders.
- Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against delivery notes and invoices.
- Organise and store inventory systematically, applying FIFO rotation.
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly store environment.
- Issue stock against approved requisitions and keep detailed issuance records.
- Document all stock movements and support internal and external audits.
- Safeguard inventory against theft, loss or damage and coordinate with other departments for timely stock availability.
Required profile
- Diploma in Storekeeping, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in store or inventory management.
