Supply Chain Coordinator – Procurement & Logistics

About the role
The Supply Chain Coordinator will manage procurement, logistics and inventory functions for World Vision projects in Kenya, ensuring compliance with policies and delivering value to communities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and advise on all procurement matters, identify alternative supply sources and resolve delivery conflicts.
- Execute market assessments, supplier pre‑qualification, RFQ/RFP processes and lead negotiations for assigned categories.
- Prepare procurement committee submissions, facilitate meetings and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance, manage contracts, and conduct spend and performance analysis.
- Support data collection, system improvements and risk assessment related to supply chain activities.
Required profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Procurement or related field; postgraduate qualification in Purchasing and Supplies Management (CIPS Level 4) is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably within an INGO.
- Member of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) and high professional ethics.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to Christian values.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP) systems
