Training Specialist Intern – Learning & Development

About the role

Delta Qatalyst Ltd is seeking a motivated Training Specialist Intern to support its Academy programs in Nairobi. You will assist in delivering both instructor‑led and virtual training sessions, helping to create an engaging learning environment for participants.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of instructor‑led and virtual training sessions.
• Prepare training materials, presentations, exercises, and learner activities.
• Facilitate engaging learning experiences and encourage learner participation.
• Assist with learner assessments, assignments, and evaluations.
• Track attendance, performance, and programme completion.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
• Collect learner feedback and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support curriculum reviews and refinement of training materials.
• Assist with learner onboarding and other Academy activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely programme delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Education, Learning & Development, ICT, Business or a related field.
• Strong interest in training, facilitation, and learning development.
• Good presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to explain information clearly and engage diverse audiences.
• Exposure to training or instructional delivery through internships, projects or similar experience is an advantage.
• Interest or experience in delivering technical training is a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Proficiency with common workplace productivity and presentation tools.
